| ALLIANCE FOR TRANSFORMING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN—USA |
Children depend upon their parents and caregivers to keep them safe and to
protect them from emotional and physical neglect, violence, sexual abuse,
and other toxic conditions.
A. Violence, such as spanking, shaming, emotional abuse, and circumcision,
weakens or impairs children's sense of wholeness, trust, and security.
1A. Select a birthing environment that clearly supports the infant-parent
attachment process.
This environment offers:
...
i. Protection from over-stimulation (bright lights or loud noises) or trauma
to the infant (separation from mother, taking blood specimens, or
circumcision).

| MGMbill.org—USA |
MGMbill.org is a non-profit organization based in San Diego,
California, seeking to pass a law that will end the practice of male
genital mutilation (circumcision) in the United States of America.
Currently, girls are protected from genital mutilation by U.S.
federal law, but boys are not.
Although legal protection of only girls from circumcision would seem
to violate the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to
the U.S. Constitution, the fact remains that it is still widely
considered to be legal in this country to mutilate a boy's genitals
in the name of social custom, hygiene, religion, or any other reason.
This is true despite the well documented lifelong damage that male
circumcision causes each of its victims.
It's a practice we need to end now. |
| National Organization of Circumcision Information Resource Centers—USA |

1. To contribute towards the legitimate protection of all our
children from the violation of non-consenting genital mutilation or
modification.
2. To educate fellow South Africans about the real dangers behind
circumcision and thereby unite South Africans in the sensible fight
against genital mutilation
3. To serve as a valuable resource base for the ordinary person and
medical professional alike. |

with the negative affects of circumcision. It is a volunteer based
awareness and support movement based in South Africa and shares the
ideals of its founding organisation, NORM, based abroad (www.norm.org).
NORM-SA is firmly against the forced modification or mutilation of the
genitals of all children. |
| Organisation Intersex International—Canada |
OII (Organisation Intersex International) wishes to express its
solidarity with other advocates working to preserve the genital
integrity of children. It is the position of OII that modifications
of one's genitals should be a decision made by the individual
concerned in consultation with a medical practitioner who provides
the patient with all the necessary information to make an informed
decision. We suggest that you check out the following pages to learn
more about circumcision.

| Stop Infant Circumcision Society—USA |

We oppose all forms of genital mutilation. We support a worldwide ban
on ALL genital mutilations. |
| Stop Mutilating Children—United Kingdom |
The United Kingdom as signatory to the United Nations Convention On
The Rights Of The Child, The European Community Convention On Human
Rights, The European Community Directives On Equality, The United
Kingdom Human Rights Act and the Female Genital Mutilation Act 2003;
must be forced to instigate legislation that upholds these legal
obligations including equality in law between male and female. There
can be no acceptable excuses or exclusions for the complete
protection of all children irrespective of gender, culture or
religious beliefs of parents and the recognition that a child is not
property but an individual human with rights in trust until they
become an adult. |
| WomanKind—USA |
WomanKind endorses the Montague Resolution, based on our belief that
circumcision and other genital mutilation violates a most basic
human right. |
